If you get hired by a "new and up and coming marketing firm", and then hear that you're small firm that you got hired has a parent company; run like the wind. The parent company are usually MLM door to door companies such as the ones listed above.

You will be working 6 days a week, driving you're own car, not getting reimbursed for gas, and won't get paid for 3 weeks once starting (and thats only if you hit the quota; don't sell a certain amount or decide to take another job after you're second week, you will see $0.00, and will have wasted plenty of food and gas).

MLM; you will be a slave, and disregarded once realizing the truth.

If you go to thedevilcorp.wordpress.com, you will find a wealth of information about this company. Be sure to explore all pages available at the top of the home screen.

If you go to Ripoff Report and search for DEVILCORP, you will find in the rebuttals some 20-25 links to news reports, government rulings and video footage on how these folks do business. Absolutely amoral.

The people running these *** branches do NOT care about anyone else. They will knowingly and gleefully post misleading job ads to lure the innocent/naive/stup*d into their offices.

They will not even blink an eye when they know that naive person is quitting a good-paying job with benefits, to come work for them to be a door to door peddler for little or no money!

They won't blink an eye when their people can't pay their rent, car payment, they have lost their phone, can't feed themselves, etc. There is a special place in *** for the people at the top and the losers who run these branches.

Please, avoid Smart Circle, Cydcor, DS Max, Granton, Innovage, Scentura, World Perfume, Kirby, Filter Queen, Vector Cutco, etc. These are all commission only, no paid training and no hourly pay "opportunities".

They lure you in with misleading job ads which never specify you are a door to door salesman working on 100% commission. The ads lead you to believe it's a real marketing job with an hourly wage or salary (with the exception of Kirby/Filter Queen, they make you think it's a job in a manufacturing facility for $1800-$2500 a month). NO pay, you actually work for free, using your own gas. Can YOU go months and earn $50, if you are lucky, and still pay your rent, car note, put food on the table, etc?

Think about.

They hide from the law by making you a 1099 employee, independent contractor, but then they violate those laws. If you realize, after day 1 of a 10 minute interview, that you are on an all day, day 2 interview/day of shadowing, that you are selling any of the following, RUN!

-At&T

-Verizon

-Energy plan

-DirectTv

-Knock-off Perfume -Knife Sets -Makeover Essentials -Vacuum cleans AKA: devices to aid people with allergies (what a joke) -Magazine subscriptions -Car Wash -Household cleaner -Tacky framed pictures no one in their right mind would want -Books -Spa coupons -Coupon books Run Forest Run!

Well put. These 'people' are liars and thieves. If a national news program ever aired a report about these companies, not only would they be out of business but their higher-ups would be up the perverbial creek.ย  If the general public only knew.
